FAQ
What people ask first.
Straight answers on access, control, scope and where an engagement actually begins.
Does OpsNest replace our ERP or production system?
No. The approach is to connect the systems you already use and preserve them. OpsNest reads approved source data and builds operational context on top, without expecting businesses to replace their ERP or production tools.
What access does OpsNest need to our systems?
Read-only access to approved source systems is the starting point for customer pilots, alongside traceable evidence, permissions and approvals.
Does the AI make operational decisions on its own?
No. We begin with explainable rules, governed data and clear operational ownership. Generative AI can help summarise evidence and explore options, but should not invent operational facts or independently make consequential changes to production or customer commitments.
Which operational problem do you start with?
The first proposed release is the Order Delivery Control Tower for medium-sized make-to-order manufacturers. We start with a defined workflow and existing source systems, then validate whether the operational benefit merits expansion.
Who is the initial focus for OpsNest?
Medium-sized make-to-order manufacturers, particularly across West Yorkshire, where complex dependencies can put customer commitments at risk.
Still the wrong question for your operation?
Then ask us the right one. We would rather understand the real problem than answer a generic one.
